I saw that too, and wondered if it were possible to trace any of her descendants.
Someone, with more accurate historical knowledge than I, will know from the birth dates of her children what bits of history they lived through. The Alfred born in 1860 would have been too old I suppose for the first world war, but he may have had sons in it. That is assuming that the children survived to marry and have children of their own. Hope you go on with the search.

Mummy not sure what to say... we will never know but it sure was a beautiful sampler!!!!!!! Diane when you put up the first list i thought oh wow this sure is spooky, the first on the list was one born in Farnham Royal which is about a 15 minute drive from where i live, how weird would that have been.......

If she was 11 in 1828, so born about 1817, aged 20 in 1837, could have married about that time & would have changed her name. Umm off to look at marriages - like a challenge
