Apart from finding a distant cousin almost straight away, no one from this family has contacted me. Edith had 2 brothers. Albert who came to Australia pre WW1( he is my grandfather) the other, Ernest died WW1. Albert did invite Edith over to Australia after WW1 but she declined as she had a boyfriend. I do not know who she married. I am hoping to find her descendants and also find out where Ernest died and is buried.

The family according to another person reports they appear to have been listed as Pattison in the 1881 census and I have picked up another 2 unknown children . How exciting! I am new at this and not very comfortable with this chat thing
