In the bottom of the screen do you have a blue bar? If so just above this do you have a thin grey bar? This is where your number shows up.

How do you find another member's number please?

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 19 Apr 2008 02:43

Libby9

Yours is 3528111

When I hover my cursor over your name it show across the bottom of the screen - in my case on a dull light brown background just above my blue bar.

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/contact.asp?wci=messagenew&contact_key=352811

So my number should read
contact_key =1518132

Well now I know how to do it.
At the very bottom of my screen I have the bar with Start and a lot of other things going across. Above that bar I have another one with an e and Done but when I hover I get the genes address and finishing up with key= and the number of whoever.
Above that comes the slide bar. Does that help you Jen?
Huia.
(Now I have to find my number when my name comes up on this thread).
edit: I am 673396.

I think it depends on your computer and what system you are using.
Membership numbers do not show,at the bottom, on my computer.
HOWEVER
Click on any name, including your own.
Now left click on the address bar (top of screen) and there it is.

Another way of doing this
Put your cursor on the persons' name
Right click
Press "Properties"
It's the number at the end of the line which says "address (URL)"
