My uncle married in wartime, 1943, in Bradford. His number, rank and occupation are all shown, ...as it is for his bride. |

My grandad was in the army when he got married in 1940, his marriage certificate lists his rank, regiment and service number with his 'civilian' occupation in brackets underneath. |
