Can't find marriage

I am tearing my hair out! I could never find my ggrandmother's birth and then discovered that all the children (to the same man) were not registered in his name. Turns out she was his 'housekeeper' (occupation on 1901 census) in more senses than one. Anyway, they eventually married in 1930 and I suspected this was because she was already married and waiting for him to die. When I got the marriage cert - bingo - she was down as a widow. |

Thank you all so much. My sanity has been restored. So, three times married ggrandmother. That explains why my grandmother (her daughter-in-law) never had a good word to say about her. No doubt a bit judgmental. LOL! |
