Does this site list ancestors born in Scotland?

I can't find one small part of my family that were married and their children born in Edinburgh in the 70's and it's driving me crackers!

Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks

Or this site not sure what you mean by the 70's (19?) then this site will not be any good.

Its free and covers areas of Scotland also the 1841/1891 census.
