Yes lambeth is included I have just tried by just putting lambeth and no names and a list of baptisms came up

When the Baptism information is added to the tree it doesn't actually say 'Baptism'' it says Residence. I have gone back and inserted the baptism date and in Description made a note that it is Baptism information from LEBB

Hi, I am now a fully paid member of Ancestry but am struggling a little bit, just looking for a tip really, I know that one of my relations was in the Renfrew Road, Lambeth Workhouse in 1911 - his name is James Ing and was a widower and was aged 72, question is how can I narrow down the records when looking at the poor records/workhouses???

Middi, join up, log in - have you given them your details for the payments to be made to you? I used a pay pal account at first but its limited to £50 and I was getting £100 sometimes from car insurance policies, so now I have my bank details for them to pay me (Over £900 in 3 years).

But anyway, yes once you have logged in (remember to always do that) then find ancestry in the merchants list, click on the link, pay for your sub as you would in normal way and thats it. I dont know how quick ancestry pay - it will tell you on there. The money will go into your account .

Absolutely bona fide site, thousands and thousands of members. Always first check for the best price you can get something THEN go to quidco and see if the merchant is on their list and buy through the link for the given cash back.

Just a tip I found - go to marriages and just put in father's name and nothing else - this way I have found a couple of second marriages for my ancestors that I am sure I would never have found. Good luck Irene

Thanks Moonbeam - I didn't even know what the 'toggle full screen' button did! I have finally found how to change to landscape and the marriage record is a little bit easier to read.

Hi, I have just had a look on ancestry regarding the LMA records, and then up popped membership - I have only been on the site a few times, can anyone tell me whether £100 approx membership fee for the year is worth it??

I said in my previous message that I was using Netscape but it is Firefox that I have.

How you select Landscape for printing probably depends on your printer. I have a Brother laser printer and when I click on print the printer dialogue box comes up. I have to click on 'Properties' to select either portrait or landscape.

I just tried printing another one. The first time I printed it it didn't print the bottom of the record. This was from 1822 and it was larger (deeper) than the previous one I printed from 1856. So I had to click on "Toggle Full Screen" so that I could see the whole record in the window. Then it printed o.k.

What a fantastic update for those of us with London ancestors, I have spent hours on there, and maybe could have saved a few quid on marriage certificates, but never mind. It is very addictive though!!!!

Thanks Moonbeam - I'm on Firefox. I've tried enlarging to 75% and then printing but it still seems very hard to read. I also cannot seem to change the orientation of the page. I'll have another go.
