I have a marriage in 1794 , and the death of the groom in 1812, neither parish register entries gives his age.

There are two possible 'fathers' for this man, in that there is a baptism in 1765 and one in 1775 -both in the same parish register.
The earlier one would make him 19, at the marriage, the latter 29. As he was a cordwainer at his marriage, is he more likely to be the man aged 29. AND how do I prove this?

also, remember that baptisms didn't necessarily happen when the person was a baby, sometimes families baptised the whole family together with older children being up to 12 or so, sometimes people only got baptised when they came to be married
