Bridget

If you think your tree is 'wrong' and it can't be corrected by a few 'clicks' then I would suggest deleting it totally.

Where do you keep your up to date tree? On here?

Wherever it may be, hopefully, you have the option of downloading a copy that you can then upload to Ancestry.

I know how to do it 'for me' but if you need help to do it 'for you' then I am sure someone on here could talk you through it if you ask :-)

If you import a Gedcom onto Genes it will overwrite the tree you already have on here. In fact you get a warning advising you of it!....So that should solve your problem :-)

Not been around for some time as my account was down for about two weeks then was due for renewal etc etc.... I couldn't log in and then found my tree only had about 28 relations instead of the 300+ that should be there. Had to get GR support to sort it out for me.
Just come back on tonight and all of the years of births & deaths have disappeared from my tree.
If I import my backup gedcom file will this correct the problem? It was importing a gedcom that caused all the problems in first place so don't want to do it if it causes just more problems.
Anyone got any tips please?
