Would love to make contact, but do not know how to go about it, I do not have subscription to Ancestry but would be more than willing to pay my dues if that is neccessary. I just want to tidy up the family, I've got all details of siblings and their families.
Just for interest is there a Lewis Foster on the trees in Ancestry?
Thanks

I think they still offer a 14 day free trail, they will want your card details....... however if you cancel within the 14 days there should be no charge.

She did not visit home after she went to USA in the late 1880s.
Can you please tell me where you get these passenger lists because I have a few others that I need to follow and do not want to be a nuisance on the GR community boards
Thanks

BatMansDaughter Report 27 Mar 2011 17:45

Hi,

Some of the lists will be from Ancestry and some from Find My Past. There is also a free site called "Ellis Island"...... they have passenger lists just to New York, but off the top of my head I can't remember from when (will be around 1890's I would think???)
