Hello All

I need some advise please, I have just used 50 credits in less the 15 minuets not sure of the best way to use 1911 Census, credits can be lost if you not 100% certain of the person you are looking for. Is there any other way to trace family in 1911.

Do you have any names, ages and an idea where they were born or living in 1911 ?

Firstly you can search the official 1911 census for free, which may give you some idea if the person you want is on there.Have a go it wont cost you anything.

If you then see names which maybe the ones you want you can always ask for a look up, some of us have a subscription to the 1911 census on FMP,
Or even, if you give some names etc we can have a look anyway,dont buy credits on GR as you say you have used a lot.

Would you be kind enough to look up in 1911 Mary Ann Scutt she would possible have children William Henry Edward dob 1893, George Valentine 1895 and Mary Caroline 1898 she was a widow. 1901 family live at 37 Walnut Tree Walk Lambeth London.

I would also welcome some 1911 information on
William Downes dob 1846 ?? wife Emma Maria her sons from a previous marriage of which I have have not located Fredrick Braddock/Craddock..1873 - 1918
John 1876 Edward 1877 then Emma and Williams 2 girls Anastasia 1880 Mary Ann 1885

Perhaps he's mistranscribed? Scott would be the obvious alternative.............
