Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

Do you think it's possible he changed occupation from making Argur's to being an agent??/

It is almost certainly FACTOR.

Factor (agent), a person who acts for another, notably a mercantile and/or colonial agent. In modern terms this might be a company representative.

Researching:

I have a 1871 census but I cannot read what his occupation is. Is there anyone willing to look it up and tell me what they think it is? Thanks.

1871 Census RG10; Piece: 2480; Folio: 13; Page: 20; GSU roll: 835194.
Name of Joseph Baker b 1821 Sedgeley. Halfway down page.

I think it looks like Tactor or Factor. Don't know what it could mean. I was hoping to find his occupation was Argur Maker.

Anyone any ideas?
