Not finding Emma on 1911 census, nor a marriage or death. This record is dated after the 1911 England and Canada census were taken though.

Not seeing any military records post attestation and transfer to Royal Scots. There is just the Medal CArd annotated with date of entry into theatre of war 14.8.1914. Awarded the 1914 Star and the Victory and British Medals. Remarks KIA (Killed in Action)

Initially Attested for Militia 3/7/1906 to 4th Sherwood Foresters, living at 8 Galloways Yard in Parish of Holy Trinity, Nottingham aged 19 years and 9 months and a Lace Hand.
5ft 3 3/4 inches tall, 104 lbs, Chest 34 inches with 3 in expansion. FResh complexion, grey eyes, brown hair, large scar left armpit, C of E.
Transferred to Royal Scots Fusiliers ? 27.8.06

As you say, looks like Richard and Jane together in 1911 with Annie now described as niece rather than sister. Age 2 in 1901 so perhaps not the child of Annie (Senior) then aged 51
