Shame on you Michael, for a person living in Dorset (:-) The pronunciation is the opposite to how you describe it, Gillingham in Kent is pronounced with a soft G, and Gillingham in Dorset with a hard G. Jennifer (in Dorset with connection in both Gillinghams) |
