Hi All, slightly off the track to my usual research. Would anyone have any advice on how i would find out what was written in my fathers will. He died in 1996, I do not want to ask his 'second' wife about it. Wondered if anyone would know how i could find out. This is not for monetary gain on my part, i would just like to know. Steve. |

Steve Once a Will has gone to Probate it becomes public property. You need to search the National Probate Calendar - available in most large libraries and Records Offices. You can then send off for a copy of the Will. Remember Wills are filed according to the date of PROBATE, not death. OC |
