Steve Once a Will has gone to Probate it becomes public property. You need to search the National Probate Calendar - available in most large libraries and Records Offices. You can then send off for a copy of the Will. Remember Wills are filed according to the date of PROBATE, not death. OC

Hi All, slightly off the track to my usual research. Would anyone have any advice on how i would find out what was written in my fathers will. He died in 1996, I do not want to ask his 'second' wife about it. Wondered if anyone would know how i could find out. This is not for monetary gain on my part, i would just like to know. Steve.
