Its more than likely written as it sounded, if you go on this site you may get a name similiar...moe www.babynamesofireland(.)com remove brackets( ) |

James A couple spring to mind. Remember if the accent was stong enough it could have sounded completely different. Catriona or Caitriona which is the irish version of Catherine or possibly Clodagh which is more difficult to spell and could have be spelt phoentecially. Karen |
