How do i obtain birth certificates once i have inf

Hi Jennifer, If you have found the person on the census, you then need to find the relevant event (BMD) on the index if you have not already have if (you say you have the vol and page number already). You can order the certificate using the vol and page number, name and district and year/quarter from the GRO online here:- http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ Certs cost £7 if you supply the vol and page ref. |

if you take down all the reference numbers at the side and take down the year and quarter that it is in then all you have to do is either email them what you want or you can phone them it normally takes about 5 working days |

I have found people on the census along with volume and page number and district but what do i do with it? Yes very new to all this Please Help Thanks |
