Hi Keith I have just done a check as you suggested - thanks for that BTW. 1. I sent a request to view a friends tree, they replied to my request but did not press the button to alow me to see their tree. On receiving the reply I could not view their tree which means that unless you press the sentence 'Allow this member to see my tree' 2. The friend then granted me access & all living relatives details were not available to see, however the first name, which in this case (and most I suppose) was the tree owner and all their details were available. Hope this will be of help to clarify things Yvonne |

Yvonne But now this person has granted you access to her tree, there is a very simple way of picking up the concealed relatives, from the name search list. Thankyou for confirming that you have to actively click on 'Permisssion to see this tree' before it works - but how confusing, when we are used to a tick box! OC |
