Mandy if you find out where you can get scottish birth certificates for free let me know. You would have to apply to the GROS in Edinburgh for a birth certificate after 1906 & they cost £10 or £11 each. This is the website.....http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/ Georgina. |

Hi, received a message from someone this morning who told me I could get copies of scottish birth certs etc free. Can anyone advise me on how to do so, can I get a birth cert for 1943 as Scotlandspeople only seem births between 1553-1906. Any help would be appreciated. |
