I have discovered my mother has photos that my grandmother had kept and the writing on the back is in Polish, my mother and her siblings don't read it. We also have the marriage certificate in Polish. Is there anybody that can read it that would be willing to translate?

Hi Suzanne I've just been trying to find an old message (hasn't come up properly on the 'view your threads only' bit) and saw your message. While I don't speak Polish, I'm qualified as a Russian translator and interpreter, and although Polish is West Slavonic and Russian is East Slavonic, I may be able to help; I had a bizarre experience last week where I managed to communicate with a Slovak speaker (it's fairly similar to Polish), so at a pinch, I'll certainly try to help. Just send me a PM if you'd like me to try Lysianne
