Does anyone know if you can search Ancestry by add

Thanks for the replies, oh yes I can see that now on Ancestry 1881. I saw the post by Heather about villages/districts, so i'll try that. A very large town though so will get my eyes ready for the long haul! Thanks, Trudi |

Trudi the only census searchable by address on Ancestry is the 1881, you can search for addresses on other census's if you are prepared to trawl through the districts. Georgina. |

I have a few ancestors whose names are continually misspelt and wonder if anyone can tell me if I can search by address only, as they tend to stay in the same place for years, but missing them on some vital census entries. Thanks, Trudi. |
