1851 Charles Clarke age 36 born 1815 Chelmsford living with wife Mary aged 30 born Germany. After Germany there are two words which are perhaps the name of a village or town but I cannot make them out. Folio ref is H0107/1813/-14 Many thanks Susan |

Thanks Reg, so that means she could have been born while the parents were on holiday for instance, but the parents were Bristish subjects? |

It could mean she was a naturalised British subject in which case there should be documents . These would be found at the National Archives. Not sure how much is online . Margaret |

Hi Margaret, can you explain that to me please? Does that mean her parents were immigrants? |
