Hi been away from researching for quite a while. Can someone point me in the right direction. I am hoping to try and find out what schools my Dad went to. Is there a site where i can find old schools. Thanks all :-) Shaz

Hi Sharon You could try a web search for the town + schools, that may bring something up. Regards Ann

You could look at the Local Authority's website. They will probably have an Education section and you may find lists of schools for the area - or maps etc. Worth a try. Alternatively, give them a call. Somewhere in their archives there will be records of schools that have closed. If schools have closed the roll books of pupils/students may well be in the archives too. Jill

If you know the areas try Friends Reunited - they list all the current schools in each area, both state and fee paying.
