This needs to be updated as the old version is discontinued in January 2007. You should have received a message stating that you need to download the newer version which is also free. Just make sure you download the free version!!! Betty |

Hi Susie, If you son has installed the AVG system, then he/you should have already received a message that comes up stating you need to download the newer version as old one finishes in January. Remind him to download the newer one. Betty |

Excuse me for asking, but am I right in thinking that AVG cannot be on at the same time as Norton? I think I read it somewhere but not sure where. If so, I'm thinking of taking Norton off completely. Thanks Anne |

It is not advisable to run two anti virus programmes, they can interfere with each other and make them ineffective, one anti virus is quite sufficient. I have used AVG satisfactorily for several years. Jennifer |

Thanks Jennifer. I think I'll unistall Norton & change as everyone seems to say it is better. Don't want anything interfering with my tree! and certainly don't want to lose any info. |
