Unusual birth registration

A relative of mine was born in 1951, Worth Valley, Yorkshire. The registration numbers are Vol. 2c Page 'See D'51.' I have never seen this as a page number before, there are no notes at the bottom of the page, and she was not addopted etc. Does anyone know what 'See D'51' means?

See December 1951 registrations. Probably something was ammended on the original cert, or she was re-registered.

Thanks Tracy, Found it in Dec Qtr 1951. Wonder why the birth was re-registered? Ruth.

Could be a spelling change or anything like that. Perhaps a middle name added. I can't remember, but if you order it, I think you get the revised cert no matter which ref you use.

Is it possible parents were not married at time of birth but married later that year?
