In the 1871 Census There was a Charles, Rebbeca GRANGER with their childre Charles and Rebecca However when I go back to the 1861 census I have found Charles, Rebecca and Charles GRAINGER The datas and places of the people are more or less the same, Where would the i of gone in the name??

	All kinds of letters come and go over time. If you match everything else up then chances are it's them. Sheila

Member Since: November 2006 Posts: 0 Send Message	It may just be human error, the spelling in some of my census has slight differences but if all other info correct then I've assumed it was a spelling error, remember not everyone was literate so couldn't tell how to spell the name.
