on her grave ( margaretta's ) it gives dates of born 1890..died 1959 aged 69

She wasn´t born in Swansea and registered in Bristol. The extract you found is from the 1901 census which says she was born in Swansea but was LIVING in Bristol at the time of the census. This appears to be her birth registration (found by Portland Rose) Name: Margaretta Williams Year of Registration: 1889 Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun DISTRICT: Swansea County: United Kingdom Volume: 11a Page: 797 A copy of her birth certificate will confirm parents names, will give you mothers maiden name (which is probably Bryant) and will give you fathers occupation. With this information you will be able to move back through the earlier censuses.
