i am tracing my family tree and wrote to my Great uncle about his grandparents and received a letter back and I was hoping someone might know where to start ... 'both in service at either Anthony Edens' (primeminster) or Dormans Estate ( Dormans Long Steel fame) in North east' now I know their names through my nan's BC but dont know where to begin with this HELP PLEASE :)

i have found them on 1901 census They are in Crosby Old Lodge Thornton le beans, Northallerton where my nanna was born later in 1904... Their names are Thomas W SNAITH 1870 and his wife Elizabeth CATTERSON 1873 ...both born in Stockton .. I have found both of their parents but would love to find out more about where they worked ..

Who are the owners of the house in 1901 census? Anthony Eden was born in 1897 at Bishop Auckland (I think). Jay
