My family were the same. They'd be christened with one surname and marry using both and on the census they could be one or t'other or both names together, lol. Heather |

whilst browsing the free acces to passenger list I found one of my lot listed under his middle name and not his surname Robert Craig McKerrow is listed as Craig-McKerow, Robert.......I had never thought of looking for my ancestors in this way. No wonder so many are missing. Now I will have to go through the ones I have middle names for that are A.W.O.L........LOL |
