To select the names you want to include, the easiest way is to create a report, which includes all the names you want to send. This could be an ancestor tree, a descendant tree, a genealogy report etc. Then with the report on screen, follow Alan's instructions, selecting Copy/Export Individuals at point 2.

Wow Alan, that's a bit to be doing. Sounds complicated. I'll give that a try right now and see how I get along. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.

Does anyone know how to create a gedcom file for part of tree to be sent to new contact instead of typing up notes. Recently started using FTM 2005 and have absolutely no Idea. Thanks in advance.
