Help, Please we need to get some certificates from GRO ireland, they insist on payment in euro's, and won't accept a barclays cheque made out in euro's I have never dealt with euro's how can I get the required currency, please, anyone. Bob |

word of warning- if you pay by debit card your bank will charge you abt 2%, unless you have a Nationwide account - they are the only bank that wont charge you , that applies to both transactions in this country regarding buying currency and abroad transactions. Jane |

Hi right, well i would send it as cash and get Post office to send it registered post, you won't be able to get a cheque made in euros for that amount, my company can do them but min is £1000. and the smallest travellers cheque is 50Euro so still too big. the other problem is getting hold of the 2 euros, as most places don't deal in coins !! and the smallest note is a 5. you might have to ask around all your friends if you could buy any off them if they have recently been on holiday !! you are talking about £7 for 10 Euro, bargain in Ireland then, thats the price of one cert. here !!! and am sure post office could advise on stamps, hope it helps Jane |
