I agrre this is totally crazy and luckily it should be very straightforward to correct. I suggest that everyone sends a note to GR asking for this feature back. In the meantime the only way I can see of getting the old functionality is to open a dummy account and search with that . but then it will not be able to determine your existing contacts. |

The dummy account is good idea Wade. For it to work, presumably you would have to email your dummy so the 'previous contact' marker shows up in the list and makes your names leap out. One possible unwanted side-effect if we all had to resort to opening duplicate dummy accounts would be that GR would be able to boast about the sudden increase in GR members and names. They would then read this as a sign of approval for the site and the way it is! |
