Trying to trace a William Clark/Clarke who appears on the 1901 census as living as a boarder at 55 Charles Street, Middlesbrough as a widower, he was born about 1837 Nottingham, he is recorded as having two sons, one son John Clark/Clarke born approx 1890 in Middlesbrough Yorkshire and at time of census is age 11. The other son in a George Frederick Clark/Clarke aged 23 in 1901, he does not appear on the 1901 but on his marriage certificate in Dec 1901 he has his address as 55 Charles Street. George Frederick Clark/Clarke is my grandmothers father, I do not know where he was born, I ordered a birth certificate for a George Fredereick Clarke but when it arrived it turned out to be incorrect. Please can anyone help me trace this family on the 1891 census. Could this be the correct entry but they had got the ages of the two children mixed up, please help.
