I am trying to work out an occupation on the 1841 census for an Elizabeth Skinner can any one read what/understand what is says please. Thankyou Source Citation: Class: HO107; Civil Parish: Bensington; County: Oxfordshire; Enumeration District: 8; Page: 13; Line: 9; GSU roll: 474573. |

I saw governess for Mary Smith 2 above but next line is not ditto is says somethings else I think for Martha Lavington and then follows to ditto for Sarah? |

It looks to me as if they did a capital G and an s, as in the first s of the ess at the end of the word Governess. Hope that makes sense! Then they decided to write do. |
