Can some one please tell me how to update a message? I've had a go but it doesn't seem to be working! Cheers Lyndsey |

When you have posted a message you will see:- Added By YOUR NAME on 07/10/2006 10:12:06 | Update Message | Delete Message at the top of the message. Click on Update message, edit the text then click the button under the message that says Update message. |

Thanks, that's what I thought, but then it brings my original message up with no space for the update. Sorry to sound such a twit! Lyndsey |

Your not sounding a twit - I've managed to delete instead of update plenty of times, now that's a twit. The update box will bring up the orriginal message but you can add to and delete text from it - a bit like a word document |

Updating is not a good idea...........it messes up the continuity, and can make the replies seem like nonsense. It is much better to add any extra info in the form of a reply.............two benefits accrue; the continuity is maintained, and the thread moves up the board. (It doesn't if you amend your original) Reg |

Well, it doesn't seem to have worked, so I shall treat it as a new message. Lyndsey |
