Fry family fleed 1861 census? UPDATE

Joan I don't know if Harriet and Hannah are the same person but there ia deffinatly a Hariett Dix marrying a Joseph Fry in 1836 and the 1841 census has a Joseph Fry with wife Harriett living in Uley with 2 daughter (Caroline and Ellan). Will keep searching - they probally landed on a missing page knowing my luck. Judith Thanks, I spotted them too and again in later censuses but an't link them to my lot at the moment but made the same assumption as you. p.s. I have the Barnes family back to 1841, Jonah is Josiah in the censuses but the marriage cert is not the best copy that I've had. |
