Hi Jayne. My grandparents would probably fit in the 'who has the oldest' league, sorry. Hope you're feeling better soon. If I can help at all, please write? |

I was 18 when my eldest daughter was born and she was same when she had hers. So I win so far at 36. I have six grandchildren now between 16 and 7 months. I love it. I'm young enough to enjoy them and still be able to hand them back. My sister has two daughters aged 6 and 7 and she's only 10 years younger than me. I'm glad I had mine young. OH and I can still do all the things we didn't do as young people. |

When we went to our younger daughter's graduation (early 1990s) all her friends said 'aren't your parents young?' We thought we were normal, having had our two when we were aged 24 and 28. Their parents had started families in their 30's, like my parents did. Another competition: whose family tree will fizzle out first? None of my siblings or first cousins has any children, and I have just one grandson, who has his father's surname. |

Dee There's hope for you yet! I'll be very surprised to have another grandchild though it's not totally out of the question. Our grandson is 13 so we're not too wrinkly for him to relate to. John |
