Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 98 Send Message	We have a birth cert with the parents Marjorie Harris and John D Ashton, Edmonton, I have been trawling ancestry marriages and have only found Marjorie Harris and James D Ashton, Islington 1939 in the right time span . Do you think there could be a mistake, my husband has sent for the marriage cert but this will not prove that it is the right couple. Does anyone have any tips? Caroline

	John and James are certainly different names, but the GRO index is not infallible! Christine
