been trying to find out about my mothers family in ireland had no luck in such a long time. no use asking family, they don't help had email today saying she would do a search for me 60 uro's an hour think it would take 2 hours would you pay that much? i really have not got anywhere with my own searches. |

I wouldn't pay it - for that sort of money you could fly over and stay overnight and do a day and a half's research yourself. You'd get much more done and have the satisfaction of doing it yourself and knowing it was done properly. |

All I can say is, when I started on my family history I made a similar payment for information. Two years later, when I was far more experienced, I got the same information for free by asking the right people. If I knew then..... |

No I wouldn't - you can get day return flights to Dublin for less than 60 euros. Jay |

You did mean 60(sixty) euros. If my maths is right and I wouldn't rely too much on it that's around £40. Somebodys on to a good thing. No I would not pay. Gloria |
