where is the bit to click on to hide living rellie

I just read the thread about stealing trees and saw someone said you can hide living rellies but cannot see where to do it |

Go to My Account Details - then Hide living relations - change it to YES |

I saw a post about this option, accessed through our account details, what a good idea, except when you do open your tree to other members they can still click on your ''list of relations'', and see EVERYONE! So the only thing you are preventing is one persons relationship to another! Just wanted to make people aware of this... Sam |

This is what it says on GR,. Hide living relations this will hide details you have entered for individuals born in the last 120yrs with no death date Does this mean if I dont have a death date for them they will still show then ??? |

Someone posted a message recently stating that although the living are hidden in your tree, it is possible to fill in the gaps using the surname, place and date that is shown on your tree on the name search function so it may not be as secure as you believe. Heather |

seems to be a waste of time using it then doesnt it?? I think I may email GR and ask them how about changing it , dont hold your breath though. |
