Oh dear........is it safe to return????? It all looks a bit scary............grammar corrections...........a new mascot...........people I've never heard of before........etc etc......??? And, NO, I didn't need a brolly or wet weather gear! Shorts and Tshirt most of the time!! (no cameras!)........Son is converted (this was NOT a family history break).....''Mummy, when can we go into the churchyard??'' (no.....not converted to religion, as far as I can tell, but to looking at gravestones!!) **Oh, fullstop, comma, apostrophe, colon, semi-colon**..........whatever...........I don't know.......... (does anyone have any idea when it's a : and when it's a ;, because I don't????.....**child educated in the 1970's**.............) Merry (**downing last glass as we speak**).....apologies to Val for not informing her of intended vacation! |

Hi Merry Hope you're up for the position to accept leave of absence applications from boardees? We have found it a nuisance when people go off and don't let anyone know,so thought, as new posts were being handed out, you would be best suited for that role - LOL Did you have a nice time? |

Hello all! It didn't seem like a holiday because we were almost only up the road from where we live!.......Lyme Regis on the border of Dorset and Devon......It was supposed to rain all the time, but never did and was sunny most days....thank goodness! Now.....this new job....to accept leave of absence applications from boardees...........I am designing an application form for leave as we speak.......hopefully it will be tricky enough that no one will be able to fathom it and so no one will take any leave. I gave a prototype to Ed - it wasn't good enough though, as he managed to completed it and has flown in to Clacton with a knotted hankie and his best sock suspenders. I forgot to tell him the original Butlins, in Clacton, closed in 1983! Whoops.............hope that was OK??.................................. Merry |

Merry you are going to have to be much stricter sifting through the applications - we are having too many people escape, there'll be none of us left at this rate. If this carries on it's back to plan a - building the hospital for us poor mentalists left behind!!! |
