It's so slow

Yes I know - it's so slow I could have snoozzzzzzzzzzzz..........................................................whilst it decides to work !!!!!!! It's so slow today that it's infuriating!!

Thought it was just me, the last 2 days has been awful, keeping nipping off to make cups of tea in between. Pauline

I think ITV want to spend a bit of money on the site - it's been rubbish since they bought it. So slow today that it's hardly worth being online. Kath. x

You are right, I have messages but cant access them. A page comes up telling me they are terribly busy today and why dont I go to 1901 site!!! To get my messages? Since this site sold out to ITV it has gone down hill rapidly. Sylvia.

yes all its so slow i thought it was my computer, its taken me ages just to add some info on my tree. i think the complaints will have to start.lol

It's ridiculous, taken forever to post about how long it's taking to post! Scared to press 'Add Message' in case I think of anything else to say, I might not live that long!!!!!

Just written to GR to complain - got so fed up I went on Rootschat for a while - that is completely FREE and quick. Stella

I thought it was my computer so I have spent all afternoon cleaning it up and defragmenting.......still the same, soooooo slow.....still it did need it. Trudi

This site is getting worse you would think they were running it on dialup snails go faster.

I have just logged on after being out all afternoon, and while this site was loading, I saw TWO advert on ITV, adverting Genes Reunited, so they have money to spend on adverts, but not the site..hmmm......and I think it will get worse, if more people start logging on, just to see what the site is all about,.... because..... lol.....not everyone has heard about US.......lol....Lilly ps wonder how long this reply will take to get sent

Its a nightmare, had to reboot came back and tried to log on and kept getting oh no traffic jam message took me forever to get on here. Then I could get onto message boards cause of same message then took me forever to post a message lol Your right, we pay our money and ITV do get millions of pounds profit they can surely afford to pay for a better a better site that isn't so darn slow. Tell me, how do I complain when whenever I click on 'contact us' the site is so slow, all I get is ' this page cannot be displayed'

I'm fed up with this site as well. WHy don't they spend money on sorting out this site before advertising it. If people come on here to join there not setting a good example by what is happening at the moment. It took me an hour tonight to get connected it's such a pain. Jen

I think this slowness is a con trying to get more money out of us. I have just had an apoligy saying, sorry for the site being so slow it is due to the heavy traffic. They go on to suggest useing their sister sites Ancestry or Friends Reunited. What a CON.

They let people join the site without paying anything and then say, ''sorry we are busy'' to the paying members who might like to post here!! There seems an obvious solution............................. Merry

Does it really state that Ancestry is a 'sister site'?
