On the subject of photographs, a couple of years ago I was organising a photoshoot to recruit London bus drivers and we found ourselves short of a model and no time to get one. So I donned the uniform, said 'cheese' and the job was done. I didn't mention it to my family but a friend of my daughters phoned her up to say she'd seen a whole page ad in the Evening Standard with a bloke that looked the spitting image of me. My daughter was furious with me because she said all her friends would now think I was a bus driver (little snob!). She didn't speak to me for days. Now when she hears I'm organising a shoot she warns me severely to make sure I've got a model.

My school photograph for 1962 is on my old school's website. It's the spitting image of me now (not). Taken with one of those revolving cameras where if you were quick you could be on both ends of the photo. J

15 years ago! The one I have of me was taken 40 years ago. Mind you I haven't changed a bit, just a few stone heavier, hair not quite the same colour but you can see its me! (Well, I can) Pauline
