Thanks Julie, That does sound like him then. I can't see a marriage for George & Elizabeth on FreeBDM, so will have to trawl the BDM index. However, it is after midnight here, so I am not going to start now, or I will never get to bed. I have the 'flu & should have headed off a couple of hours ago. Thanks for your help. Regards Lyn |

Lyn, I wasn't blaming you - IMPUT is correct - it is only since computers have come along that we have INPUT! Mark |

Thanks Mark! I am so full of the 'flu that my brain is worse than normal. Just figured that I'd made another booboo! It wasn't until this morning that I realized what you were actually saying!! I'll gladly take the Gold star. Bless you. Lyn |

Hi Paul, Thank you for that. I had not picked up on that birth. I wonder if Elizabeth Clegg was George Francis' mother, or was he the illegit child of Geo Weetman & registered under his Mum's name. I see that in the 1881 census, Geo Weetman's wife was Emma. Maybe I will never find out, but if it is just that he has been missed on the BDM, is there anywhere that I can check this out? Bless you.
