Warning Ireland/Northumberland TIP

Just thought I would give this warning if you are missing some Northumberland rellies. On one page of the 1901 census I have found Northed (ed are smaller superscript) which is supposed to be Northumberland but it has been transcribed as being Ireland - not good if you are trying to find some elusive rellies!

That could be really tedious. Well noted! As an aside, though, I'd have thought that the superscript would be '' ld'' - short for the ''land'' bit. Christine
