Thanks for replies. Have now found the marriage so I know it's the right family. Now if I could only find her first marriage, I would be a happy bunny!! Only just started looking though so there's time yet. Thanks again. |

I've got several instances of stepchildren being called children on a census. Have you got an earlier/later census to compare the children's ages and birthplaces? nell |

Found a family with Head and wife with one surname and 4 kids but they all have a different surname but it states son / daughter, not step son or anything. Did they state step daughter if they were or not? Pretty sure it's my family but the names have me confused. |
