Try Royal Marine Light Infantry or Royal Marine Artillery Keith

The Royal Marines have separate records at Kew. If it is WW1 you probably mean the Royal Marine Light Infantry. Whatever -You need to know which division he was with - Chatham, Portsmouth, Plymouth or Woolwich. You should then be able to access his record in ADM series on microfiche at Kew. I've never seen any WW1 medal cards for them just their complete records.Mine went out to Gallipoli as did most of them and then shipped back to France and amalgamated into the army as - I think RND/ 63 division. It was all the brainwave of Winston Churchill. Jan
