Right this is the problem: I asked for help on this marriage yesterday: George Boxall to Emily Baker, first child born in 1863 in Lambeth No-one could find it (made me feel not quite so stupid!) Think this is my Emily at home (she was born in Lambeth in 1840, and the only one in that area I could find) Source RG9/354, Folio 151, Page 10, GSU 542621 Census 1851. As you can see she has a sister Mary Ann. Emily Baker and George Boxall called one of their daughters Mary Ann (co-incidence?) By the 1891 census George Boxall is a widower In 1900 I find a George Boxall marrying a Mary Ann Baker. Does he marry Emilys sister ??? Would like some input on this, if anyone thinks this could be feasible (my hunch says yes) I could send off for this marriage cert, which in effect would give me the same info as the marriage I cannot find. Obviously though I need to be sure, as don’t want to build a tree with wrong rellies!!!! Would be eternally grateful for some advice peeps xxx

Very Kind of you Tricia thanks very much, he is George Boxall born 1839/40 in surrey, place of birth varies from census to census, but Chiddingfold and Chalford are two, Mary Ann baker was born in 1847 in lambeth, and keeping fingers crossed that they did indeed marry and I can stop looking for the elusive marriage
