Is an 18 year old girl likely to have her father's name on the death certificate in the 1870s? Anyone got any experience of this?

all the childhood deaths I have list them as 'son of .........' or 'daughter of .......' - but most of them have been a lot younger. i would imagine that as coming of age was still considered to be 21 they would still be seen as the child of their father
